    720/1080p on a device smaller than a net book is COMPLETELY pointless and would be impossible to tell apart from a 576 or 480 line video... but adding a TV out cable to the mix would fix that .

    I would hardly say its the worst of both or the best of both its just another UMPC type device that will float around and unlikely to get much recognition until it either gets small enough to be a phone or big and fast enough to be a netbook.

    Mmmmm, a touchscreen mobile phone with a TV-out. Sounds cool to me.

    What if it came with a little bluetooth dongle that plugged into your monitor's DVI / HDMI port (I guess it would have to be battery powered) and then wirelessly transferred your HD content from the phone to the monitor? The technology for that *must* be available now...

    Whatever. I'm not getting excited until high-def 50" holographic screens become the norm

    And you know that, just like the internet, the primary use for those will be more immersive porn.
