where is MadduckUK
probably at work
I can't wait for this
We may see Forza 4 before GT5 at this rate
helloooo
my worry as far as the visuals go is that turn 10 will sacrifice the framerate in order to try and keep up with what gt5 is doing, i would rather a minor improvement over forza2 (which to be fair was only a minor improvement over forza1) than them knocking it down to 30fps, anyone who says they cant tell the difference never had forza1 and gt4 on the go at the same time and never went directly from f1 to f2.
not going to comment about anything else as its all old stuff really, the 100's of cars and tracks was from last summer for example :/

spot on. we need this to be locked at 60fps not 30
they did the 30FPS thing with Colin McRae DiRT didn't they?
and that played like a DOG!
the framerate was just horrible..
they even locked it at 30FPS on PC too
hopefully it turns out that rather than just tweaking and porting forza 1's engine (dont tell me they didnt, they did) they have done it from the ground up for the 360 this time.. thats the only way i could see massive steps forward.

he's a funny guy.. a funny funny funny guy :|In fact some of you may remember the features we did on Turn 10’s Lead SDE, Colin Reed, showcasing his sick G35 coupe. If you haven’t then you’re missing out big-time…check out his ride here. So anyways Colin is a very visual guy, and being that he is primarily in charge of making our next game look as badass as possible, it’s no surprise that he knows how to make us look good. Over this past week he and I have been throwing visual jabs at each other with our latest in-game pictures, going back and forth to see who can come out on top. What makes our photos particularly crazy and dynamic is the fact that our water physics have gone beyond just about any watersports game you've seen on a console, simulating waves, ripple effects, and surface tension to the next level of realism. Of course it’s a friendly competition (if you even want to call it that) and primarily we’ve been using these pictures to further along the visual look of our next game. This is a very good thing, and judging by the visual difference between our first batch and the latest… we’ve made some very significant progress. At the very least, we have the nicest collection of superboats ever captured in screenshots.
