On windows 7, i like it too for the quick posistioning of side by side for widescreen screens like my home desktop.
    Hello TheAnimus,
you can drag out tabs with opera as well.
i couldnt seem to add it back to the window i took it from but if i close the tab then close the window i can take it out of the trash backj in to the old window.

I hate using the older way now. I love tabs.
windows just crowd my taskbar. its easier to manage in windows 7 thou but tabs ftw!

I use FF as my primary browser for the pluggins, but I still find it slower than IE even with 3GB of RAM. And memory leak is still an issue. Firefox 3 has significantly improved over Firefox 2 in that aspect, but somehow, it still doesn't play too nice after a while especially if you use lots of Flash applications.

Been using it more and more now. I don't like the way favourites are setup/accessed (IE7/8 has it perfect in that department). Other than that, I'm loving it. It's amazingly quick. Not quick enough to make IE8 look slow. But still quick enough for me to take notice.

Google might been onto something here

It turns out that they have. And it's pretty impressive with how well Google has developed this browser in a relatively short period of time. Still, no sync options, and still no word of a native Linux port yet. So, I'm sticking with Firefox in the mean time.

Well it is based on Webkit, so they did have a bit of a head start. It isn't like they built it from the ground up.

I know that all too well. As Firefox was built on mozilla, mozilla being built on netscape, etc... Still, a usable browser in around a year is pretty good going.

Building a webkit browser really isn't that much effort, even apple managed it.

But Mozilla was a progression of Netscape, not just taking Netscape and wrapping it up in a new interface.

Oh and Firefox's full name? Mozilla Firefox, it isn't based on Mozilla, it is Mozilla.

4 New Extensions for Google Chrome

I'm interested in AdSweep. And you'll need the latest dev build of Chrome to get these extensions to work.

I'm glad that Chrome is catching up with other browsers. And full screen mode does make it great for netbooks. Though there is still a lot to fix.

Just installed AdSweep, and it's brilliant! I'm seriously considering switching from IE8 to Chrome full-time.
