...silly argument really..what if the channels on freeview do not air the content you want to watch? (which they don't..). £17 is not much considering what you get..its actually a bargain.

What argument!! Because someone has a different opinion to you does not mean its an argument!

You think Sky is good value, I do not - Its not an argument.

I meant a silly point..that just because freeview has 50 channels you would not want sky, and also that the majority of the 50 channels on freeview just show tat/adverts etc (admittedly like 50% of the channels on sky..but there are more "premium" channels with sky) Again though that is an opinion..didn't mean to try and start an argument..i should have been more clear in my first post i guess.

The value is a separate issue hehe and that one would be an argument rather than opinions
