they are insanely priced but someone will undoubtedly buy them.

its not the price that scares me its the fact 48 hours after you buy it its value has halved and something much better will have come along

Re: News - ASUS ROG MARS graphics card hits retail, requires a loan

    LOL...

I believe it is an effective way to fight recession *chuckle*.. It gets the money shifting hands

Besides, this filters away the ultra stupidly rich idiots to the 'i-thought-i-was-rich-BUT-is-now-piss-poor' upper middle class people's idiotic kids (who incidently thinks that they're dad is loaded)..

So the ppl who buys this will probably genuinely able to afford it.. rather than crying to social services later that they've now dug even further below the poverty mark..

Win win for both Nvidia and social support.. Kudos for Nvidia.. LOL
    Me want Ultrabook

Re: News - ASUS ROG MARS graphics card hits retail, requires a loan

These will be snapped up by the overclocking crowd for breaking world records. One guy at HWBot just bought 16x £1000 CPUs in the hopes that at least one will overclock well. He'll sell the rest, but if he's got that money lying about, then 2 of these won't matter too much.
