I have been lookinga t one of these for a while but when I think that my PC is on maybe once a week and it already has a Thermalright 120 in there I see no need.

I've been really wanting to get one of these but was unsure of how difficult the installation might be etc. but it looks really simple so think i'm gonna go for one As for the intake of air I dont think it will be too much of a problem considering i leave the side of my case off haha.
Just installed it this evening. Have to say, it wasn't as easy as Hexus had made it sound - not least because the instructions directed me to put the backplate screwholders in the wrong holes - follow the engraving on the backplate, not the instructions, for that!
All in all a fairly straightforward procedure though, greatly lengthened by the amount of gubbins in my case needing to be un/replugged and tidied. I've now added another fan to the radiator (now a push-pull setup), overclocked further up to 3.6GHz (with >0.05V voltage increase :/) and CPU temperatures remain a few degrees lower than on my Arctic Freezer 7 Pro (66-69°C under load), currently stable for just under an hour.
The other thing is, my motherboard temperatures have shot up by >10°C due to, presumably, a decrease in airflow over its Northbridge heatsinks - and that's despite a decrease in FSB frequency.
Similarly, although I'm somewhat confused by it - my graphic cards' temperatures are also up, by ~7°C, despite their fans spinning faster to compensate. And this is with the side door of my case off, and a 120mm fan blowing air at them from outside, so I can't see there having been that great an increase in case temperatures Edit: actually looks like they were previously sourcing cold air from the lower compartment, the one housing the PSU (bottom-mounted PSU); I removed a no-longer-needed fan, or so I thought, from that area. Looks like I'll be putting it back in when I get the time to reroute my cables round it.
Anyway, it's always nice to o/c a bit more, and I'm happy with the purchase. Plus - Scan seem to be offering a 120 month warranty with it, which is nice
