Cant say as it breaks NDA? fair play but shouldnt really mention at all .

I bet the fps would be 111. I bet it runs hot, i bet it is cheaper than the 5970 but also runs similar to this apart from in crisis at high resolution and AA as i still think the dual gpu would kick its butt.

Nah, they don't. I did all the sums on 3XS a few months back - even in absolute cash terms they charge very little for the build plus warranty.

My guess is that a lot of their profit on the systems comes from the fact that people are forced to buy all the components from Scan, rather than the build fee.

Re: News - This evening's entertainment: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 480

The guy was right on pricing.
Kalniel: "Nice review Tarinder - would it be possible to get a picture of the case when the components are installed (with the side off obviously)?"
CAT-THE-FIFTH: "The Antec 300 is a case which has an understated and clean appearance which many people like. Not everyone is into e-peen looking computers which look like a cross between the imagination of a hyperactive 10 year old and a Frog."
TKPeters: "Off to AVForum better Deal - £20+Vat for Free Shipping @ Scan"
for all intents it seems to be the same card minus some gays name on it and a shielded cover ? with OEM added to it - GoNz0.

Kyle at HardOCP was fairly damning. And WOW at the fan noise vids he has up.

NV need to roll that refresh out fast. The only real advantage is those 2gb frame buffers at high end gaming. Otherwise. Hot, Expensive, LOUD, and not really a "killer" slamdunk.

Watch the 58xx cards spike in price now :-/

    Agreed,

Nv need high performing drivers asap to justify price and the raging inferno.
