gtx460 as my suppler as rang me up about it sells for about £140
Kalniel: "Nice review Tarinder - would it be possible to get a picture of the case when the components are installed (with the side off obviously)?"
CAT-THE-FIFTH: "The Antec 300 is a case which has an understated and clean appearance which many people like. Not everyone is into e-peen looking computers which look like a cross between the imagination of a hyperactive 10 year old and a Frog."
TKPeters: "Off to AVForum better Deal - £20+Vat for Free Shipping @ Scan"
for all intents it seems to be the same card minus some gays name on it and a shielded cover ? with OEM added to it - GoNz0.
Anything that is powerful and cheap will be good. From what I've seen from the GTX4**'s they've been nothing explosive above the ATI cards. If Nvidia can pull off a <£150 card that's a decent mark up from ATI's cards and the GTS250/GTX260 in comparison then it should help at least to reinstate their positioning in the market.
However, I doubt they'll pull it off based on past performance
On monday they will announce a date for a product release or announce a date when they will announce a later date for a product release or ...
Another rebrand?
Fermi mk2 in 2012?
Alright that was abit harsh. Fermi would work on a lower process... but given that 22nm is coming only in 2012... its not looking good for the green team especially with the kicking ATI/AMD is giving them.
That physx article was highly interesting and just goes to show its being artifically capped. so another reason to open it up and make it SSE but then you loose the reason of gpu for physx....
its not being artificially capped its just not being actively supported. I dont think i would go so far as to say the reds are giving the greens a kicking either. Technically they have the better product in performance per price and performance per watt scale but as is always the case nVidias marketing team make rusty bicycles seem like Harleys.
