Now, now, less of that - you'll upset the iPhone fanbois!
Joking aside, it's still pretty staggering how much of a lead Nokia and Symbian have - I didn't think Symbian especially was that prevalent. I'm also a bit mystified how come HTC have such a small share - certainly all the press for the last six months or so has been pretty positive for them. Okay they doubled their share, but it's still pretty small.
Curious too how Nokia shipped more units, but still managed to lose market share - so where's all these extra units going?
Can't see Symbian doing much in future - even Nokia saying that the high-end future (which is where all the money is) lies with MeeGo. And as for WinMo - imho someone do the kind thing and shoot it please!
Anyone want to bet against the future top three being Android, RIM and iOS, with MeeGo being a distant fourth?
You forget Nokia make a lot of non-smartphones for the simple people. Thats why the market is so high for Symbian.
