News - ACS:Law could cop £500k fine as ‘porn list’ is exposed

Doesn't avoid spoofing/hijacking though & (probably) various other ways it could end up being a load of tosh?

I need to have a nosey at that list just for a laugh, see if anyone I know is on there!

Although Sky do use Dynamic IP addresses their logs should still show which was user was connected using which IP at a specific time there shouldnt be any incorrect details on that list.

Given how many people have no idea about wireless security I should imagine that quite a bit of that data could be inaccurate if people have been piggy backing on their connection.

As standard though Sky routers come with WPA encryption enabled on the wireless. Whilst no wireless is completely secure its a better than other ISP`s.

Shame it cant be £500k per identifiable individual exposed, theyd be bankrupt.
