News - BBC details plans to slash online services

Personally I love the BBC and don't want to see it get effected to much. Its the only real competition Sky has (Which I avoid like the plague as I think Murdock has too much control over british media). I also find it to be the only channels I really watch now (Thankfully my blu-ray player has iplayer so my freesat box has only been used once or twice a fortnight).

about time the tv tax was removed completely and the bbc left to fend for itself and evolve a self sustaining business model, not be forced onto everyone whether wanted or not.

Yeah, and then we get news like Fox, completely advertiser led and totally untrustworthy.

Nope, long live the BBC.
