Revolutionary, and not just for games.
Looks like you got a disobedient comma thereshowcasing how the device can scan an entire, object room or person

This is an amazing development. As mikerr says not just for games either. This could revolutionise robotics (imagine a robot with full 3D binocular vision), games (the ability to truly be in the game), CGI modelling (with a bit more resolution this could scan objects that can then be 3D printed). It could also have uses in surgery, architectural design, just about every field!
If they could build this into a set of goggles that you wear with 3D screens then you could play games where the monsters are inserted into your own home or any other location! As you run about the rooms things lurk and attack you.
I will be watching this with bated breath!
