Already seems to have fizzled out somewhat seeing as facebook stole most of their nice ideas. Also worth pointing out that Huddle was a complete pile of balls, it should have been integrated into chat/e-mail but instead its a barely functioning POS with little purpose.
I've joined, but I only have one friend from facebook on there. Seems like no one else can be bothered.
The wait between the beta and the public release of Google+ has killed any excitement I had for it. It has also let Facebook steal all the decent ideas that G+ had came up with. Although I have grown tired of Facebook and the dribble people post on it, I can't see it going away anytime soon.
Well, I can't be bothered with Facebook, so I guess my view of Google+ won't surprise anyone.
Google+ hasn't got the inane crap yet...but it might come now! I've got an account, but use it very rarely, and facebook is a timewaster for me
Old puter - still good enuff till I save some pennies!
I like the way it uploads all my pix from my phone and tablet and bangs them all in a secure bit, useful..
Facebook is getting way beyond ridiculous. With each "improvement" I'm using it less and less because things are no longer where or as they should be.
Google+ is fine at the moment except that nobody is on it :/
Similarly, I just signed up on Google+ yesterday.
I've had enough of facebook's ridiculous news feed ticker. Anyone find it annoying?
I'd prefer if they have an option to enable or disable it.
Also private wall feeds were momentarily shared publicly 2-3 weeks ago. I think they were tweaking the system then.
I must say that I think it's one of the best features they've implemented so far, it's a hell of a lot easier than refreshing all the time and it ticks away like crazy when Facebook's busy.
I know that I'm in a very small minority with that view though, and can definitely see why it'd annoy some people.
I disagree, whilst facebook is annoying at times i find it invaluable in keeping in touch with my friends since i moved away, especially at the moment when im working insane hours and don't have time for phone calls. It gives me an easy method of finding out what they are doing at a weekend or for me to organize something and invite people to it. Make of it what you want, i use it as a tool and its a pretty useful one in the most part.
Dont know why Google is going toe to toe with Facebook, Google should just buy them out & be done with it !...
