Torchlight 2 - the original is great and the the multiplayer option coming in 2 will add to it hugely.

Diablo 3 - Less so than before I found out you had to be connected to the internet to play.

I might pick up Skyrim to tide me over until Star Wars: The Old Republic launches at the end of December.

Skyrim and BF3 (after the initial rush anyway and once they've got more servers up, I think this is where it's going to struggle as these companies always seem to underestimate this sort of thing).

Diablo 3, Torchlight 2, StarCraft 2: Heart of the Swarm and Serious Sam 3. I'm not the biggest shooter fan so thankfully my wallet wont be hit as hard as a lot of peoples.

Re: News - Question of the week - Which games are you going to buy?

Pre Ordered BF3, MW3. However, someone introduced me to Borderlands GOTY for £7.50 recently and now I'm addicted to that. Its basically a multiplayer Fallout 3 but fast paced and a lot more fun.

So the others might be on the back burner for a bit.

Re: News - Question of the week - Which games are you going to buy?

    I'm clearing backlog.
    Finish Assassins Creed 2
    Finish God of War 2
    Finish MW2 SP
Have a proper go at GT5
Thinking about Driver San Fran & maybe MW3 after that.

I'll probably be at the same point this time next year.
But, as someone else has already mentioned, by the time I get to these games, they've been patched and plugged and all the bugs should have been fixed...

Re: News - Question of the week - Which games are you going to buy?

BF3 - Purchased. £18 to check it out, give the gfx card a beating to within an inch of it's life.....I'm sure I will clock up some decent hours on it but more of a "can something replace COD?" purchase for me.

MW3 - Probably will purchase. I do like the pace and size of it compared to BF3 but getting real sick of the same game re-skinned, add in the "elite service" and the way they churn a new game out every 12 months and then charge a fortune for a couple of maps here and there.....so I really hope I can get into BF3 and stay away from this........I doubt it very much though

Batman....of course. Arkham Asylum was one of the best games ever made IMO. Makes 'City a definite purchase for me.

Starcraft II: Heart of the Swarm....YES! Seems like forever since SC2 released.....I really killed it after a few months. Be nice to get back into it again.

Re: News - Question of the week - Which games are you going to buy?

BF3 - not realy, my bad company 2 has issues with connecting to servers and if it will connect me after numerous trys, i'm getting kicked out again, don't want to waste money, maybe will get it sometime in 2012
MW3 - already preordered and can't wait for it.

don't have much time for games, family comes first now, but COD is allowing me for quick play in spare time between dinner and desert

I like the backlog thinking, though after playing the BF3 beta I thought naaaaah!

COD over the years has put me well behind on games. Mostly peer group pressure kept calling me back, it's difficult to get 3/4 people you know on the same game these days so when they're on the pursuasion is easy.

    MW3

Did annual WoW pass, so will be going Diablo 3 free

Hopefully Arkham City will bomb in price like Asylum did XD

Also waiting for Guild Wars 2 if that ever comes out..... Late 2011 is almost over and not even a beta yet. Duke Nukem eat your heart out
