News - AMD Radeon HD 7770 and 7750 to launch this Wednesday

According to this GPU-Z screenshot it has 640 shaders:

The die is meant to be 123MM2 as opposed to the 164MM2 of the HD5770 and HD6770. This is would place it in the same pallbark as an HD6670.

It would put the card at HD6790 or HD5830 level. A launch price of £130 does seem over optimistic IMHO. Around £100 at launch would be more appropriate and the card really should have been bus powered too.

Not too shabby (if the price is right), now for the 7870/7850.

The HD 7870 is what I am waiting for!

7870/7850 should hit the sweet spot for me. So long as one of them is around the £200 mark. My 4870 is getting a little old now and could do with being retired to the desk drawer.
