That's why I was confused by the 4G branding, I did some reading into 3G/LTE/4G a while ago and really didn't expect what's officially known as 4G to be out any time soon.
Sure, it makes sense to call it 4G because of the large jump in speed (plus, it's not compatible with 3G), and who knows maybe 4G will be known as 5G when it's released to avoid further confusion?
