You've still got the hypegasm around iPhone5 to "look forward" to.
I know what you're meaning though - ceramic cases, huge megapixel cameras, flexible screens, etc - all that stuff was rumoured to be in the mix, but we got none of it.
Still, at least it's got a proper (i.e. removable!!) battery and uSDXC card slot, although uSIM is a "fail" in my book.
The case is what was rumoured I think, just that samsung think it has a ceramic look to it. Not real ceramic which would be weird and brittle surely.
It's this constant expectation and inevitable dissatisfaction thanks to rumours that 12 month contracts still kind of exist for, you can always get the new one next year, I'm wondering if perhaps I'll be able to renew at 12 months on my current contract.
juz luv GALAXY S III stuff specially huge 4.8in screen and it weighs roughly at 133g, with a thickness of 8.6mm impressively large 2,100mAh battery well it's awesome at the moment
I've been waiting for this... cool
Same here - mobile contracts to me leave me feeling like that guy in Monte Carlo in the old VW Golf advert - the one where roulette always comes up black when I pick red, (or vice-versa). So this time I'm following advice given on Hexus and going for a SIM only contract and buying my own phone. I've been amazed by the variety of those kind of contracts available - e.g. not that much of a premium for 30 day contracts if I feel the need, (although in practice a 12 month one is fine for me).

I quite like the t-mobile business unlimited on at the moment, 12 months, £35pm exVAT (you claim back if you have business), unlimited calls, texts and internet, decent business customer service, pay probably around £200 for the S III. So total in the year is 420 + 200 = £620 AKA the cost of the phone + £120 for a unlimited everything, not happy bail out after 12 months.
I just got my Galaxy Note, which has some of this tech. I would like to think that when the ICS update for the Note comes out it will contain some of these software updates.
S3 is a nice phone though. I think they ought to have stuck with the slightly squarer design. I thought the S2 and Note were 2 of the nicest looking phones around. This slightly curved look makes it look more like an HTC.
No USB 3 support?
Which cover are people using and recommend for their s3?
incipio hard
Official samsung gel case is very slim for everyday use and a rock quicksand one for taking out.
