Hmmm, Very similar to the One X, but I think that the battery edges it...
No news yet on removable battery/storage?
The instant picture taking is welcome. Also I was after a bigger screen so this is looking good. Let's hope O2 put it out for £400 like they did with the s2 last May.
Battery is removable. There is also an official accessory that can charge a second battery: http://www.engadget.com/2012/05/03/S...ries-unveiled/
In fact, here's a good run down of specs: http://www.engadget.com/2012/05/03/s...e-x-lumia-900/
Just reading through that link, its very impressive that they managed to fit a microSd card slot, full sized SIM, up to 64GB storage and a large 2,100mAh battery in something that size.
Very impressive indeed.
On another note, the pentile display is really getting to me but everything else I really like about the device, I'll be getting one, just wished it was AMOLED Plus.
Not too impressed with the pentile screen, One X screen is better... But the One X is worse for everything else... I think I'll wait for the next Galaxy Note.
One X is better because it is out and I have one. That's better than a handset you can't buy yet
Sounds tempting so far, i await an indepth review before ill pick one up. I can't wait much longer for a new phone since mines on its last legs so im hoping its as good as it sounds!
O well - looks like my note is well and truly trumpted by this in every way expect screen size, a little bit more res and bigger battery. Still not disappointed I didn't wait as the notes still great and I doubt I'll get an S3 on £20 a month contract any time soon!
Just ordered through CPW offering a Free 10 inch Galaxy Tab....I'll wait for reviews to see if I cancel
I have to say that sounds good... It is quite similar to the One X but then most phones of this generation probably will be.
Any word (unless I missed it in the article) about dedicated GPU capabilities? Would be a shame to not put that large screen to use! All in all, I quite like it compared to the S2, though I hope that they have put more resources into developing a decent interface rather than the touchwiz crap that they have been peddling. Some of the user enhancements sound like they might be useful too.
Would like to see how it feels in hand really, but the hardware looks very pretty
Oh, you gotta love how they have done an apple and just prefixed a letter in front of any word describing a feature. S Voice, S Beam etc. They should have just called it the sPhone
I was tempted by the One X, but also patient as I knew the S3 was around the corner. Not too keen on the A9 cores either as it's old technology, if I'm going to upgrade from the S2, I may as well get this year's tech rather than last year's!
I'm hoping the next Note will have non-pentile screen and A15 cpu cores.
When I saw the placeholder image, I thought he was going to make them battle like toy dolls, I'm kind of let down.
