Awful, what were they thinking? why to the left viewing and home page, why can't I set it to show only uploads as the default home page setting instead of all that recommended crap. And I can't even see comments people may have left without going in to the inbox. Terrible design.

Luckily there is a script out that centers video playback and sets the home page to show uploads at default. I use it in chrome.

I don't browse in full screen so I didn't even notice that the page is positioned left. However, I immediately noticed removed features..

Why the hell would you remove "Sort by: upload date". It's one of the most used features for me and now they only give the ability to show only videos uploaded today, or this week, or this month... /facepalm.

Given that I generally use the google page itself to browse videos, its not that much of an issue for me. I can uderstand having a unified style across all the products, but the whitespace is a waste imo ><
