My Celestion speakers are from the early 70s. Not sure of exact year as they're a hand-me down from my aunt. Still sound great.
Other than that I've still got a Nokia 2000 series phone as my backup phone and it also has a 2nd life as my alarm clock.

I still have a working Casio FX Graphic calculator. I used it for my A-Level maths, 20 years ago.
Probably have older if i think about it but first thing that came to mind was that my car stereo is a mini disc player. Invested heavily into the mini disc route at the time. Wanted something better than a tape walkman, and couldn't stand the size of portable cd players, so mini disc was the way forward for me. I was only thinking the other day that i should plug my mini disc deck in and get around to making some new upto date discs for the car.
A Sharp scientific calculator I used for my O levels - 32 years ago.
Hmmmm, most of my "old" stuff got left behind in Telford, but I still have my Yamaha sub from the late 1990s, my Nikon D70 from 2004 (I think, 1st year they were in UK anyway), my Kinnarps chair, plus M$ wireless mouse and keyboard, all from 2001, and my trusty and very brilliant iRiver 20GB H120 MP3 player / recorder from late 1990s.
And until recently I still had my old Koss Pro4AA cans I bought in Saudi in 1980 !!
Sega mega drive with the first normal kombat
Probably my dual Intel Pentium III home server with 512MB of DDr and a 20GB HDD. Don't laugh, it kicked ASS back in the day.
Theres an old Quad 33/303 setup in the dining room downstairs.... gotta be early 70's.... way older than me anyways... thats probably the oldest technology gadget in the house... Although there are some tools that probably backdate it by a few decades too lying around...
Of course you could always count the Singer Sewing machine in the loft that dates from the early 1900's that still gets used...
Our Yamaha RX-V461DAB 2007 AV amplifier. It hasn't been turned off for six years. Bought for £110 new. Best Hi-Fi purchase ever. Never had a fault or problem with it whatsoever.
office 97, does it count?![]()
Pff, all these whippersnappers with their 'old' iPhones and 'ancient' Playstations. Give over.
I have a Technics amp from 1977 that still churns out a lovely sound.
It would have to be my LG Viewty camera phone from way back in 2007 It still works so i still use it.![]()
The most worrying thing about this thread is that most people claiming to have "old" gadgets are talking about things from the late 90s or early 00s..thats not old! (and I am only 27).
Me? I still use my old Olympus OM-4 camera every now and again (it does take some really nice film shots) but not something I use every day.
I don't know what counts as a gadget but I have speakers from 1969, an amp from 1983 (I think), a keyboard from 1991, beyond that I guess it's my PSP 1st gen followed by my desktop which is from 2008. I'm younger than my keyboard![]()
Probably my keyboard from 2001 - literally cannot think of anything else older that I still use!
