I wish samsung would create a device for that price, but is actually worth it in technology terms, fat battery, i5 processor, 8GB RAM, 256GB SSD, 2560x1600 5" screen, now that, would be worth the price! (sort of)

    The correct question is:

    Will it play Crysis?

For that price you could get a top end ultrabook, decent laptop and a Note2 on contract and still have enough money for a quick holiday. And I'm sure Samsung would love you for that...

i5 processor in my book = huge power drain, (because it's not a phone processor) so you're either looking at a vast battery or usage times that are shorter than the attention span of an iFan.

Know what you're getting at - for that kind of price you'd expect a bit more high tech - heck even one of those dual-screen arrangements with eInk display that were shown recently by that Russian company. Instead they don't seem to have pushed the boat out in the tech department.

Career status: still enjoying my new career in DevOps, but it's keeping me busy...
