600 series was about £50 too expensive
700 series is at least £100 too expensive

Nope, I will not be purchasing a GTX 780. My GTX 670s are running all of my games just fine.

Nice performance but overpriced. Very happy with my GTX580 which over-clocks well. Will for the next generation.

If the 770 the 680 re-badge comes in at £400+, I hope Hexus review it as the ripp-off it is and be one of few review sites that are not afraid to say it.

Re: Features - QOTW: Will you be buying a GeForce GTX 780?

If this card was around £300, the kind of cost a high end new part would have been a few years back, then it would be worth it. But it's too small un upgrade over what is currently available. Unfortunately, all the current cards are way over-priced too, with prices and performance stagnated a huge amount over the past two years. Unless my card fails, I simply don't see anything worthwhile in any price range to upgrade to, and this card is way way beyond what I would consider as a sensible price for it.

Re: Features - QOTW: Will you be buying a GeForce GTX 780?

It's not even in the ballpark. £300 is the upper limit of what I'll spend on a GPU, and that'll last me literally years.

Re: Features - QOTW: Will you be buying a GeForce GTX 780?

No, it is overpriced by a significant margin. Where did bang4buck go anyway? It wasn't on the Titan or 780, and that would pretty much tell the story.

Agreed, I'm not going to be getting a new GFX but even if I was these prices are insulting.

No. That's very expensive. Here in the Philippines it costs 25,000 Philippine Pesos. Poor Pricing Nvidia. I know in U.K. it costs about 330 UK Pounds? Am I right?

We should be so lucky. £550, minimum.

I never buy at this price range. When I say "this price range" I mean "over $200". So no, I won't buy it. Won't mind winning it though.

Re: Features - QOTW: Will you be buying a GeForce GTX 780?

If I learnt one thing buying my pair of 7950's early, it's prices can change a hell of a lot when the competitor cards come out! I paid £370 each and when the GTX 680 launched they lost £100 in value each virtually overnight. If AMD's next card is decent competition, NVIDIA will drop it's price. Not that I'm buying at the moment, but you'd be mad to buy straight away...just look what happened to the poor mugs that bought a Titan.

Re: Features - QOTW: Will you be buying a GeForce GTX 780?

    Nope.

If I had a ridiculous amount of cash spare and needed that kind of power, then I imagine I might, but I've yet to even see a reason to upgrade my unlocked AMD 6950, as it does whatever I want to at 1200P.

I'm not going to get because its price is just too high for me to even consider I'm waiting to see how much the 750,760 and 770 cost.
