TBH,I am seeing less and less of a reason for spending silly amounts of money,ever since the release of the Nexus4 and a number of Chinese efforts,which prove you can have a decent smartphone for well under £300. The rest of it is just tarting up the case,and plonking in a better camera. Even with the latter the price difference is enough to buy a decent compact anyway.

Once my Galaxy S3 bites the dust I'm more likely to look Sony's way than Apple, they really seem to be on song at this time. And I only use free apps so I'm not all that locked into Android.
Definitely not! When my current S3 contract expires, I want something bigger. A phablet. I'll probably go with whatever the latest iteration of the Galaxy Note they're on at the time.
My other half wants a 5S to replace her 4S, then saw the luducruous prices wanted for the contracts..... and still wanted one.

Dunno! Contract is up soon and been with apple since the 3G. Currently on the 4S, was disappointed in the 5 and the 5S is not much better.
I don't understand why everything is going mental on the screen size. I want to be able to carry my phone around in my pocket and hold it up to my ear with one hand!
Would really love the Ubuntu phone to come out and I'm interested to see what Google brings out next.
Will proberly stick with 4S and go onto a sim-only plan, see what next year brings!

Not for me, though. My girlfriend is tired of waiting for Androids to "do stuff". I have to admit, most application developers spend more time developing for Apple. I like Android, personally - but the ones I've had so far could have been a bit faster.
I hate Apple as a company, but the iPhone is better.
Another no from me. But I won't buy any other phone either. My galaxy whatever still does everything what I need it to do.

I have a 4S. Its a tempting upgrade (5S not the awful looking 5C!), but I'd need the 32GB which is £629 offline. Its an awful lot of cash. OK I would probably sell the 4S and get some nice Apple resell value so that brings the price down a bit.
Galaxy s4 here will do everything I want it to do

Nope - Too much invested in in Android plus I won't own anything with a close ecosystem. Installing what I want when I want (and from who I want) is a must!
