Too late just ordered a 7970 to replace my noisy 7950.

£200 seems like a very good affordable price
£180 just because I like saying the number like a darts commentator!
My 7850 cost over £200 at the time. Most expensive GPU I've bought yet.
I could buy another one now for £135.
So I'd be a mug to buy a R9 290X. Or have more money than sense!
379 euro would be a price I would wish to see.
409 euro would be the max for me, anything above that I would consider overpriced, definitely waiting for a price war...
£13 a week.
£450, considering the GTX 780 custom coolers are around £479.99 maybe less if you shop around.
I don't see much point buying one of these R9 290X UNLESS you are going to run them NOT overclocked, or watercool them.
I read on OcUK forums custom cooled versions will be available in around 6 weeks from launch.
£350 maximum, same with any GPU.
Probably £300 if I was going to buy a very high end GPU but I think I will stick with my £110 580 for now.
I agree abychristy, sapphire or msi, (xfx would have to do some crazy cooling system instead of the plain jane). I would not pay near that price If I had to wait until it dropped to around the $300-$400. price.
Well £150 is the usual price i'd pay (top) for a GPU.
And seeing how this is physically larger (consuming more vital space in my PC), consumes more energy and produces more heat than my current GPU, AMD would have to have some sort of payment to me to offset that... so overall £50?

not more than $600
din't pay a lot for my 5870 ..last of the great value cards .. so unless there putting it down for £250-350 why would I change it does everything I want it to ...
amd think of this how many would you sell at that price ??how would that affect NVidia ..
who would be left standing ?volume over price always wins ..

OCUK were taking pre-orders with £99 for the BF4 editions, so I'm guessing high
Since paying in USD is usually cheaper, I'm expecting something higher than £545
That as well as the 7990 price drop into the mix
My guess is going to be at least £599 for the BF4 edition and around £550 for the regular card on it's own.
Would be silly to make it cheaper than the 7990
The way I see things is the 7990 is aimed at the GTX 690
The R9 290X is aimed at the Titan.
£600 is quite a lot of cash, but then again it's cheaper than nvidia's offerings and for higher performance, according to the articles I've seen
50 pence

Well, I'm not looking to upgrade right now, but I'd take a hell of a lot of convincing that ANY video card is worth more than £100, £150 tops, to me.
