I'll be blunt: if they offer 770 cheaper than R9 280X, then I'm buying NVidia, otherwise I stick to ATI

Indeed. Few people in their right mind will pay an extra £80 for a 770 for such little gain. There'll obviously be exceptions (Linux user's being one, as they get infinitely better drivers), but for most people it looks like AMD are the way to go until Nvidia cut their prices.

It's like the 9800GTX fiasco all over again

Re: News - Nvidia graphics card price cuts touted as new Radeons roll out

i have 770 GTX got it when first launched, i was thinking to go SLI, but with the price of 280x and never settle forever bundle, there are too many things that makes it so hard to stay with Nvidia.

so the bottom line is, if 770 GTX prices didnt go down, ill sell mine and get 280x crossfire. (thats free 6 games)

It's great as I'm willing to build new rig yet in this year, but maybe I will be lucky and win some competition from hexus

If they going to cut the prices I hope they will do it before end of this month. I need a new graphic card before BF4 comes out.
