If I hadnt just got my Note 3 a few weeks back. This would be the phone I would have considered. The pure google experience would be awesome and the styling is nice.

Shame it doesnt have a sd slot.

A really good phone otherwise. One of the best out there.

Only thing I will give it is dual flash and larger battery however its personal preference, I dont need 64gb I stream everything with unlimited data and I must say that phone is huge! I would say the N4 and N5 seem perfect on width anymore and I wouldnt be able to use it one handed so its ruled out for me and I also like slightly curved phones dont like rectangles .

Where can you get the Mi3 from? Cant find it anywhere, another thing is the lack of LTE! One of the main reason for upgrading
edit: its also missing WiFi AC

Each to their own, would be nice if the battery was larger but it should be large enough! Try the G2 if youw ant moar

No not £5, £15 in total and it means I get my device earlier i.e friday. I literally spent 5 minutes actually on the phone so hardly a wasted effort and totally worth the time .

Is 2300 mAH enough to power this for a whole day with medium-high usage?

Re: News - Google Nexus 5 smartphone launched at £299 (16GB)

£170 cheaper than the 16GB iPhone 5C and to move up to the 32GB model its only £40 more whereas with Apple its £80. Its a winner on those fronts.
A 64GB model would have been nice (especially if it was priced at £379) which would somewhat negate the need for the missed (by many) micro sd slot.
Have a Windows phone which i like but do miss Android sometimes so its temting to get the Nexus.

Was hoping for a lower UK price really, seeing as the US have it for only $349. £265 seems fair to me.

Who knows? 4.4 is supposed to make the OS a lot more efficient so we could see some pretty huge improvements in battery life.

You serious? Ignore the confused conversion rates for a few minutes and look at the price and specs of this device compared to its competitors. This thing is a freaking bargain.

Re: News - Google Nexus 5 smartphone launched at £299 (16GB)

Are the rumours true that the 32Gb model comes with a larger battery? If this is true then the extra £40 does seem worth it. I'd definitely get one if I hadn't only bought my N4 about 4 months ago...

Nothing indicates that the rumour was true. No information since the launch states this.

This is exactly my question too. A lot will depend on the OS I guess. Awaiting reviews.

As above, the Google site says they're the same. Doubt they've made a mistake.

The google provided talk times etc. are also rather disappointingly represented - wifi tests in airplane mode for eg.

No unfortunately it appears this didn't happen, would have been the only reason for me to grab the 32gb in my case so was slightly disappointed but oh well, can't grab everything :-)

In the US VAT (sales tax is 6%) we have 20% VAT which accounts for some of the price difference.
