Well, we're not "giving gifts" at all. So no, we haven't "given" any to Turkey, but then, we haven't given any to any other country either, including the UK, where we are based.

These are prizes in competitions. And winners can, and often are, based all over the world, including to name but a few, Belarus, Philippines, Australia, Poland, France, Russian Federation, Canada, US, Hungary, and many, many more, providing only that a specific competition is open to worldwide entrants.

Winners are selected on a fully automatic, random basis and as long as winners are eligible for a specific competition, a few of which are UK-only, location is not a factor in either winning, or not.

Oh and by the way, Turkey IS on the list of countries including winners. Most recently, I believe, a Galaxy S5 smartphone.

tbf Saracen, I think this is more of a language thing, from my experience (a fair bit) of dealing with people who's first language isn't english, they often substitute words, and don't quite mean what they are saying, if you take it literally. You have to read with an eye to interpreting the meaning. But I appreciate its worth being clear about these things, to remove abiguity
