What the heck are you cleaning it with?

Sounds like you've ether got some abrasion or a solvent in a cleaning product eating into the surface.

Granted acrylic is a relatively soft material, however cast acrylic is far more scratch and chemical resistant than extruded acrylic, which is cheaper, lighter weight, easier and quicker to form into complex shapes, which is why most case manufactures use extruded.
You can use plastic polishing kits to remove light surface scratches, again cast acrylic is good in as it's far easier to polish than extruded acrylic.

I didn't actually explain my situation very well as I made it sound like mine was already swirly... its not but I'm paranoid as this is my case:

At the moment I'm just dusting it with a Microfibre cloth, no additives and there is a few scratches on it, nothing serious.

Perhaps you think Im being a bit tooo paranoid?
