T'other half has got it ordered on PS4, though we're away for the weekend! Hoping for a quick stab, but mostly hoping it keeps her busy so I can crack on with DIY/gardening/my computer games...
Unfortunately i've heard not so great things about No Man's Sky. Very repetitive and grindy (unless you like that sort of thing). But i'll give it a go when it launches on steam later tonight
That's my concern. I'd love to support a british dev who have put so much effort in but the constant grind to refuel everything while managing a tiny inventory doesn't sound much fun. Hopefully it will see a price cut soon once the hype dies down. If it hit £30 I might bite.
Aah after watching loads of reviews on YouTube about No Man's Sky, I'm a bit disappointed, I'll admit I was definitely caught up in the hype but that aside, I myself have stopped preordering games, great on Steams part for offering refunds on purchases if you don't like the game. Theres this new culture of pre-ordering games, back in the day fair enough, because we all wanted our grubby hands on a physical copy and pre-ordering was a way to insure that we did get it on release. I digress, but do some research on pre-ordering and how its affecting game development.
Regards
