Interesingly enough an RX470 is faster than a R9 380X and costs less.

...and at least £40 more than the budget here. I guess as long as the current one keeps going, I'm happy. If it does stop working, I might look at what's available at the time, or just go onboard.

And upto 40% to 50% faster in newer games than a GTX1050TI. The most expensive card I ever bought is £150.

The GTX1050TI has terrible price/performance in comparison. Its barely quicker than the GTX960 4GB I picked up for well under £150 last year. Most of the pre-overclocked cards tested by reviewers started at £150. Even the GTX1060 3GB shows it up too.

When Hexus reviewed the cards, the Powercolor RX470 Devil 13 was £165 delivered on offer(and £170 on another offer a week or two later). The cheapest I ever saw an R9 380X was around £155 delivered. That RX470 was better price/performance than literally most of the cards upto £300.

So,£15 for a much faster card?? The cheaper cards will probably have worse coolers too.
