The xbox consoles have been a disaster for soo many reasons and I don't think I'd buy one ever.

Probably not. I've got a (powerful) PC *without* Windows 10. Any Xbox draws too much power to function as a viable media device (streaming etc). What would be the point in buying one?

No I have a One and PS4, rather than spend the money on an updated version of either I would get a new GPU.

Tempted but not for games.
Need a 4k blu ray player for tv, If this had of been out last year then probably yes as 4k players were ridiculously expensive.
Now players are cheaper than the console will be so it's not really worth it.
I remember with PS3 it was the very reason I bought it, The blu ray player on it was cheaper than anything else out there at the time and had the added benefit of being a game console so I bought one.

For me, it just doesn't have the games (exclusives) to make it worthwhile. Much more tempted by the PS4/Switch.

For me, though, PCs and consoles are two different products, aimed at different uses.

I think I'm unlikely to buy because the price is too high for what it does, rather than because of what a PC costs.

It's a bit like, in another thread, a discussion between buying and running a car, or just calling a cab when you need one. They'll both get you from A to B, but the logic of each approach is sound, but different.

Yes I think I will be purchasing it. Even though I have a high end gaming PC setup, I do sometimes enjoy the simplicity and eco system of consoles

Got a PS4 Pro with PSVR and a powerful PC. Don't see any reason to buy any Microsoft console right now.

Certainly not at launch but I did buy a 360 and PS3 when they dropped right down in price. I was hoping the XB1S would get a bigger price drop at E3 and a black version (not keen on the white) but looks like black is reserved for the X.

I'll probably get an S at some point this year or when RDR2 comes out.
