Not me , I got the first xbox one that will do me .
Not me , I got the first xbox one that will do me .
I have a PS4, PC and an xbox one, the PS4 gets used once every couple of months because of the outstanding exclusives , the xbox one only gets used for Forza Horizon 3 (which i could buy on PC really..) and the PC pretty much every day so the Xbox X is for me not worth buying with hardly any exclusives.
I remember telling my friends Microsoft needed to announce a ton of exclusive games when the Xbox X is announced or it will not do that well and i personally didn't see anything too exciting at E3.
But if i had a ton of Xbox one games which i regularly played, and a 4K TV it would be a no brainer to buy one.
NO, Have PC and PS4...
Done buying consoles unless it's an android based one (preferably Nvidia based 14 or 10nm rev2.0 androidTV, last one was a v1.1...LOL). Already far to much cross-over on PC (not many exclusives) and I refuse to pay $60+ for any game on any platform. Heck, these days I refuse to pay $30 and rarely buy anywhere but GOG these days anyway. If I can't play the game completely maxxed out, I wait to buy until I can, so I always get a great price.
If I can't get an AndroidTV version with a new soc this year (c'mon Nvidia put out a 100w-200w box!), I guess I'll just build 2 HTPC's instead. Would already have NV's box, but they decided to NOT upgrade the soc, so I'll wait out the next rev. No intention of ever buying sony/msft again.
I will likely not buy a console anymore. I probably have used the Xbox One console for a few days in the last month - I just play games on my own time.
I see the merits of a console refresh for 2160p displays, but I am horrified that the weak CPU forces a lot of games to 30fps, ehem Destiny 2 ehem. Just check Digital Foundry for any detailed information. As a side note, I have not heard of any equivalent to "Boost Mode" yet.
No. Depending on the availability, price and performance of the late to party Vega GPU, I'm going to splurge my cash on an upgrade to my GTX 1070. So either a new AMD card, which will pair better with my freesync monitor, or a GTX 1080 Ti.
Once you go PC there's NO going back. So there's not a chance of me getting one.
PC Master Race - that is to say... no.
No.
1. I already have highend PC and PS4
2. All you need to play any xbox games are PS4 and PC while Xbox alone can't play any PS4 exclusives.
3. So many alternatives you can do with $500 when you already have PS4 and PC.
4. I am already paying like $50 for PSN service. I don't want to pay another $50 for Live service.
5. They got ZERO AAA console exclusives.
No, but I'll try to win one if you give one away in a competition
Yes, Xbox One S will become the "kids" console, freeing up the sitting room for me
No. I'm not much of a gamer these days. My own gaming needs are largely covered by a tablet and small laptop, and the gaming needs of my family are covered by the HTPC, Xbox 360 and Wii U. Even that is somewhat of an overkill. I'd upgrade to an Xbox One S if it had backward compatibility for all the 360 titles, but since Microsoft said specifically that Kinect titles for the 360 won't be supported on the One, I see no reason to upgrade.

no pc gamer
£449 is really good value. Hooked up to a 4K Freesync TV/Monitor the XBox seems like a bargain compared to a PC.
