**** EA. they keep murdering the software houses i love. And for their POS gaming platform to be called Origin after they murdered Origin Systems (wing commander) its just insult to injury.

EA should stick to crap sports games and sims and leave gaming to ppl who acutally produce good games instead of ruining them.

Obviously the big changes made by cutting out these in-game purchases were undesirable for EA, so it will be “very cautious” in future productions.

Err yeah, undesirable because they lost money, and they will be cautious in the future to do better at exploiting people in ways that don't make headline press and get politicians on their soap box. Change? Nah. Leopards don't change their spots.
