I just knew someone was going to say it ... lol.
I would like to be able to an LG 55SJ850V but without the television tuner or the speakers in it. I have a surround sound system so i do not need the speakers.
I do not want to pay the BBC license tax as i mainly watch Netflix, a bit of Amazon and occasionally Now TV.
I know i do not need a license however if i dont actually have a television i would hopefully not be constantly harrassed about needing a license.
I would not have iPlayer app on any device either.
3 CRTs, one in each room and one in the kitchen. Still going strong.

You don’t need a TV Licence to own or possess a television set. However, if you use it to watch or record programmes as they are being shown on TV or live on an online TV service, or to download or watch BBC programmes on demand, including catch up TV, on BBC iPlayer, then you need a TV Licence in order to do so.

We have two TVs in our home, we have the 65" Samsung Q6F UHD HDR in the living room which is absolutely glorious and a 49" LG 1080p in the bedroom.
One. Ok, two, I have a 46" Toshiba but it's currently hiding behind the projector screen that I do usually use. I haven't used it most all of this year. I don't know what to do with it, it's a decent enough telly but it's not 4k nor HDR so no good for my PC maybe.

Be Careful on the Internet! I ran and tackled a drive by mining attack today. It's not designed to do anything than provide fake texts (say!)
Just one, but I'm considering a second one for my bedroom.
I doubt it'll work, because TV Licensing stress it's about what you do, not the equipment you do it on.
As for not needing the speakers or TV tuner, I take that point, but I'd suspect that the demand for such a set would be small enough that the extra costs of changing production lines, holding extra stock, etc, would outweigh the costs of simply buying the standard unit sbd not using tuner or speakers.
call me old fashioned but I'd like a TV to do everything I need it to in one box - ie find a signal, show it in good quality and have speakers to project the sound. I don't care about voice control - don't want it at all. Smart TV? Even that I'm not too keen on. But this push for "no speakers, you need to buy a soundbar" etc. WTF???
Myss_tree is absolutely right. He doesn't need a TV license if he only watches catchup shows. You only require a TV license if you watch live TV and/or BBC iPlayer.
