I'm not sure if this counts, but in theory I'd love for a Sega return to making their own (new) consoles, if it meant they'd manage to compete with today's console makers (especially reigniting the fight with Nintendo).
I say 'in theory', because it's more along the lines of curiosity as to how well they'd be able to compete if they did make a comeback these days. I highly doubt (although I could of course be wrong) that they have the financial resources needed to be able to fund the making, distribution and promotion of a competitive system in this day and age though.
I'd also add a vote for the aforementioned perpetual software licenses.
While there are of course still some that do perpetual, as time goes on it's increasingly turned to time and/or subscription-based.

I was going to say Sega consoles as well (wishful thinking though).
Apple Ipods
The mention of the Walkman line reminded me: I'd love to see some new, reliable cassette recorders at reasonable prices. Both portable and home decks. Lots of bands started selling cassettes again in the last couple of years, but I don't know what people are playing them on. A lot of the old gear from the 80s and 90s has fallen victim to plastic gears eroding.
Given what I see on my commute, indicators.
