AAA games that don't have loot boxes and/or micro-transactions, and don't require an internet connection to play in single-player mode.

Multiplayer games that you can run your own server on your LAN

    Classic iPods

    DRM-free games

Re: QOTW: Which retro tech needs to make a comeback?

I got back into listening to music again this week and was looking for a player. I miss the old iPod touch/classic... the only other "MP3" players on the market seem to be the same ones that I've seen 10 years ago. And a lot of them seem pretty expensive for what functionality they seem to provide.

    Hhmmm,

    Perpetual software licences (No subscriptions)
    Easy-to-fix-cars (As above)
Single player games that are good (Half-life, Descent and Super Mario Land are my current go-to's)
    Affordable PC parts

And yes, I could go on, but I'll stop here.

I like the idea of modern polaroid. Gone are the days of photo albums. There's something nostalgic about flicking through a photo album or an old wicker basket full of random prints. I bet you've done this when you've found a load at your mums or your nans.
