None - good for now.
None - good for now.
Possibly my gpu although my GTX1070 is still doing me proud. CPU and Motherboard most likely 2021 when AMD's new AM5 socket arrives.
If anything (no real plans to upgrade) upgrade my 1600x to a newer Ryzen CPU, other than that I cannot think of anything else that needs upgrading for a couple of years.
Stating with the case then CPU cooler and finally motherboard/RAM/CPU
Gpu.
Bar my Keyboard (K70) Mouse (G502) and headphones (HD58X) I am looking at full system replacement to go from my i5 4690K from 2013 to either Ryzen or 10th Gen Intel ? not picked the path yet.
Maybe a case fan (depending on how much noisier the current one gets) and -fingers crossed- nothing else.
Probably get a new case, too much heat in my current set up.
Not for a while. Bit the bullet and got a Ryzen 5 2600 with 32-gig ram and a 1tb nvme corsair ssd. Plenty fast enough for me... and such good value that my music pc has just received the same cpu and motherboard but with only 16 gig
Old puter - still good enuff till I save some pennies!
I think my PC is decent enough for now, the games i play barely even max out the GPU (RX580), which is probably the weakest component in my PC.
I am thinking of saving up to replace one of my monitors with a 27" higher res freesync one though.
CPU and Motherboard as I'm going AMD.
A whole new system
*Looks over at ageing Dell laptop, missing both its screen and its keyboard, fans screeching at almost 50dBa just to get me through the few Chrome tabs I have open*
Uh... Yes. All of them. As soon as possible.
when and if Tiger lake comes out, ill build a new system. I am still using a 7+ year old i7 system, with an added SSD, all still runs like new.
