I'm going t disagree with those who are predicting super-high prices. These cards have significant competition from the new consoles. Why pay £600 for a GPU when you can get a whole console with similar performance for less? Why pay £1000 when you can wait a few months? I think prices will be moderately high before the releases of the consoles and drop after the releases.

It's a different market. If you've invested in the rest of a high end PC and need a high end GPU to go in it then a console isn't going to do anything for you.

Mid-low end cards on the other hand, absolutely. And funnily enough, AMD and nVidia seem to be keeping clear at the moment.

I'm not quite sure how you got into that loop of using the Microsoft Store for the drivers? Windows update will install the WHQL drivers automatically upon install if available and from there I'm sure most would get their drivers direct from whomever, such as AMD or Nvidia. Why would you be using the Microsoft Store for drivers?

That's also showing that if AMD wants to win more market they suppose to have better performance/cost than navi, or there will be regions that the price is same, performance roughly the same, and the AMD have less "marketed features", easy enough to justify buying nvidia.

There's a huge difference in MSRP, and most places this translated into a difference in selling price - if they ended up costing the same in some markets, that's just someone price gouging and not really anything to do with AMD. In the UK the 5600XT is ~17% cheaper than the equal performance (but with RT) 2060 non-S, for example, while the equal cost 1660ti is left well behind

1080ti was pretty hot, I really want to see how hot will be this card
