I received a NES from my father back in the day, then I had two PlayStation One (PSX), but I never bought those myself.

PlayStation 2
We had a game system that played stuff like Pong when I was little (never been able to find out the exact model) but the first I bought myself was a 360.
Playstation 2
I'm another one who sticks with the PC. I did once have game cartidges for use with the Commodore 64, but I doubt that counts.
I had an Atari as well and my favourite game was Superman
PS2 from mum and ad.. first I bought was the original Xbox Elite.. 2nd hand from a mate not owned a single console since then
First and only console - ColecoVision, with Gorf as favourite game. Switched to C64 after a few years.
The first console I ever purchased with my own money was the PS3.
The first console I bought myself was the original PlayStation 1, but that was only because I wanted to play Time Crisis and Point Blank at home! The first console I had was the Atari 2600.
Pong probably a copy it was Magnavox and cost more than everything that came out until Xbox
I've never bought one for serious gaming. I have bought a Wii and an XBox 360 in the past, but this was for family games. We still have some family fun on the Wii, but the XBox 360 is gathering dust. We used it to play Scene It and 100-1 when MS were hosting it, but they've now discontinued the family fun stuff like that, so it's useless to me.
I'll never buy another console, it's PC only for me. Can't stand those controllers anyway ;-)
