Maybe... depends on a few things, not least what team AMD bring to the table this Autumn, what happens with the resale value of my RTX 2080 Super and the appeal of other things on my shopping list.

No, I'm waiting to see if I and family survive the whole Covid-19 pandemic, then and only then and if I still have a job, might I consider.
Really can't justify spending what's been asked for when I don't know if I'll even be alive in the coming months to use it.
Disgusting prices they're charging anyway.
It's not really the launch that was a *cough* show it's that some people are just being people, from what i understand they started production of the chip back in August. There was apparently stock levels in line with what there were for the 2080 launch and sites crashing or being out of stock the instant sales went live was down to over-hype, bots, and basic high demand.
IMO it's silly, it's a graphics card people, there's more important things in life than if you get a new graphics card now or in a few months.

I'm going to wait until the AMD cards are out and there are some good comparative reviews.
Then I'll look at the costs/benefits because I'm on 1080p monitors right now and it looks like I'd need to buy 1440p or 4k screens as well to see any benefit.
Besides, once the hype has died down I'm less likely to get caught by price gouging.
Same as many, waiting to see what AMD do. My current card is a Radeon 580 8GB. So anything is going to feel like an upgrade. But if AMD launch a decent card, at a competitive price, they'll probably keep my business. I'm definitely more of a bang for buck, than 'as powerful as possible.' for silly money.
Nope we are skint after the virus thingy
Old puter - still good enuff till I save some pennies!
No. Isn't expecting people to spend hundreds of pounds on a non-essential item, at a time of huge redundancies and uncertainty, somewhat bonkers?

No,because its over £400 and also because I have a SFF system, with an SF450 PSU. Hence a GPU consuming more than my system does under full load,is not really worth it to me!

I want to see what the competetion offer....
Nope, these days it seems absurd to me to burn 250W just for entertainment purposes, when the same games will run fine on 50W.
Not to mention the versions that are not all that much watered down in gameplay terms that run fine on a 10W tablet.
My next card will be lower power consumption than my current ~80W card. If all that qualifies is the cheapest offering then well, I guess I have more to spend elsewhere.

Not unless RDNA2 is hot garbage (maybe literally?)
Apart from them being unobtainium for the foreseeable future, I won't. Seeing as i would have to buy a larger PSU and monitor upgrade too.
I'll wait until AMD goes over to am5 and do a full system upgrade. Perhaps then 3080FE's will be available, and who knows...Big Navi might be a better buy.
Absolutely not. I'll NEVER give nVidia my cash when it comes to a brand new card. The last time I did that, with an expensive 690, I booted to a black screen (as did many people). After that event, I went second hand. I will, however, be grabbing a 2060 Super or 2070ti (Ebay).
