As mine is for a Christmas present and I'm not allowed to open it:
1) The box is nice and square, and
2) It's quite heavy.

I have always been PC & PlayStation combo but this time I am totally torn. The series X is more powerful and would make a great extension to my PC as I could share the gamepass between them and pick up my games in another room, or even hook up the console to my 1440p monitor (cough) if I want to bring it to me instead. The PS5 however has an interesting controller and already has at least a couple of new titles to sink into, and well, is just something different. So yeah it's a tough one for me.
I thought it looked ok, friend has one and has said its an improvement but more evolutionary

I'm just wondering when the stock issues area gonna resolve. Scan got less than 200 for their first wave! I don't even plan to get one, I just think the supply and demand disparity is insane. Maybe the PS4 and such were just as bad, but I was too young to notice...
I remember trying to get a Wii Street launch when I was at uni. Checking for stock alerts at the local Argos. Popping into shops any time we were out and about. Wasn't quick or easy!
As for the vr, sounds like very limited gains so no real incentive there.
I went to see it to my friend's house . No visible difference in picture on his Polaroid TVvs my PS4 PRO on LG nano cell. When you buy PS5, make sure you have decent tv with HDMI 2.1
