Re: QOTW: How often do you upgrade your PC chassis?

It took me 13 years to upgrade my Chassis, from Coolermaster Cosmos 1000 to a Be Quiet Dark Base Pro rev 2.
I'm thinking of changing again as now i've going from eatx to atx.

    No that's the Enthoo Primo.
The Luxe has three bays and a flapped front I/O panel above the fan intake.

So far, never. Built my first desktop 9 years ago. Haven't upgraded the chassis since.

It's black. It's rectangular. It has front USB 3.0 ports and 5.25" bays. It lacks RGB lighting and glass windows, but has good cooling. It's slightly larger than I expected but still fits under my desk. I can take off the side panels with thumb screws. What else would I need?

I'll probably keep it for my next rebuild; it looks unlikely that there will be some new technology in cases that I really need to have.

That is a nice case, and could be a good replacement for my Bitfenix Survivor but sadly it seems to be OoS and replaced by the Luxe2 with only 1 5.25" bay and costing £200.

I'm still rocking an old Sharkoon case, T9 if I remember right, 8-9 years old, I've had no need to upgrade it, it has great air flow, well built, the only thing I've changed is the colour, I sprayed the blue bits red when I went from Intel to AMD.

Re: QOTW: How often do you upgrade your PC chassis?

I usually upgrade when I need to. Had an Antec 300 for years but was struggling with lack of modern features so moved to a nzxt s340 but that had such mediocre airflow I quickly sold it. I don't think I'll be replacing my new gamemax f15 for some time unless some new front panel connector comes along. Its got great airflow and lots of options even though it was cheap.
    Trust

    Laptop : Dell Inspiron 1545 with Ryzen 5500u, 16gb and 256 NVMe, Windows 11.
