    Are you sure you're not thinking of the Pentium 2 CPU "Card"?

    AM2 was a PGA clamp socket as well as 939 (I had both an Athlon and Athlon X2).

    again, if socket 1700 gets released supporting DDR5 from the start then ill buy, otherwise nope.
