QOTW: How many fans are inside your PC?

Including the one in the PSU then 8 of them, 2 of them on the GFX card which are air cooled ATM
From now on i am only dealing in 140 mm fans or larger, new project have four 140 mm intake fans, and thats probably going to be it.
To make it easy for myself, i have put all 4 into one large quad unit.



This mean with the planned RPM and the performance of these fans, the volume of air in my living room will be pushed thru my PC case 4 times every hour.
And i am not running these suckers at full tilt, if i did it would be 40& more air / hour ( assuming RPM / volume of air moved scale 1:1,,,,, which i know it dont )

I was quite surprised when I counted them...didn't realise i had so many, for what is a bog-standard setup.

2x 140mm Top extraction
1x 120mm CPU
2x 90(?)mm GPU
1x 120mm rear extraction.

So NINE fans...ffs Having said that it's pretty quiet.....

I run a Thermaltake Tower 900 case

2 fans in the front section
2 fans in the rear section
8 fans on my radiators (140mm & 2 x 420mm)
1 in the PSU

All of them. They're not much good outside the case.

My rear exhaust fan is mounted on the outside... allows more room for mounting the pump/res combo that way.

I'm also increasing my count to 12, since we seem to be including the PSU fan, now.

On my old core 2 quad box: 1 CPU cooler, 1 PSU, 1 case exhaust, 1 graphics card for a total of 4
On the Dell T3600 workstation: 3 front intake (around 80mm) 2 small ones on the nonstandard Dell PSU,
2 small ones on the low profile graphics card, 1 on the CPU cooler for a total of 8.

That's it, as the PSU is a 400W fanless model.

There'll be at least another 2 when I replace the long gone GPU

New build (ordering to start next week):
1x 200mm intake
2x Radiator fans (120mm)
1x 120mm exhaust
1x PSU
And another 2 when GPU prices become sensible again.
