None at all. They couldn't care less about us as long as the money is coming in. I tend to go for the best I can get for the amount I am willing to pay so my components come from different brands and different retailers. I do have several brands that I refuse to buy though.

With me it's case of things not letting me down and the customer service. I use Asus ROG, Corsair, Nostromo, Logitech and Patriot

Not sure if I can class them as a tech company, but as I use their products all day while working in a tech environment, I have to give a shout out to noblechairs. Their customer service has been exemplary, plus their Discord channel is pretty sweet!

To avoid..... Gigabyte. Had 2 3070s both die, one after less than a month then its RMA was DOA. Put me right off.

Re: QOTW: Which tech companies are you loyal to?

    Apple for smartphones and tablets.
    Samsung & WD for storage
    corsair for RAM
Currently running NZXT for case, cooling, and PSU (I was the NZXT H1 Hexus winner)
Asus ROG motherboards (very expensive but I've NEVER had a problem with a ROG motherboard and I'm on my fourth)
Apple, Anker, and Zendure for batteries, cables etc.
Currently using an all Logitech setup for KB&M and audio, used Razor before.
For everything else I switch to the best value for money, I've had a 3 AMD and 1 Intel CPU (currently an OC R5-3600), and 2 Nvidia and 1 AMD GPU's (currently a GTX 1060 6GB)

Re: QOTW: Which tech companies are you loyal to?

I really try to not get attached to tech companies. These days I go for seasonic for PSU's. Mostly because of the reputation and reviews and word of mouth. I use to be a fan of Asus, that was until they screwed everyone over on the x300 series of amd boards and were the driving force behind amd's decision to give us owners of said x300 series the finger.

Re: QOTW: Which tech companies are you loyal to?

I'm loyal to companies that make quality products - Seasonic, Noctua, Dell for monitors, HP for business laptops, Samsung SSD and so on. I've always bought Asus motherboards and never had any issues. Intel vs AMD - don't care. I don't mind paying a bit more for good quality kit. I avoid buying anything from Chinese (i.e. authoritarian peoples republic of China) companies and yes of course I know many of the components will probably be made in Chinese factories.

Re: QOTW: Which tech companies are you loyal to?

There are companies from which I have received outstanding customer service that I would happily buy from again - Noctua and Cooler Master both spring to mind - but I don't really do brand loyalty when it comes to tech.

Well, the majority of my GPUs over the years have been Nvidia cards, but I don't think it's a conscious choice - I'd buy AMD if it was the better option at the time I was looking to buy.

Re: QOTW: Which tech companies are you loyal to?

    Loyal too? None.

Price / performance / reliability / features are factors in my purchase decisions though. I do have preferences, however I'll throw those companies under a bus the moment I have a bad experience. The same as any company would throw me under a bus in the chase for ever increasing profit margins.

I definitely have a list of companies I avoid though, the bus has run them over already.

Re: QOTW: Which tech companies are you loyal to?

Easier to answer which ones/one do I avoid and that answer would be XFX. Only ever bought 2 things from them (graphics cards). Both died after very little use. I bought the second one because I thought the first one was a fluke. Nope! Also customer service was awful.

Re: QOTW: Which tech companies are you loyal to?

I'm not sure the word " Loyal " should apply here , " Preferred " Maybe. In that vein then I'd go with the following. GSkill for memory , never any probs. SDD's Samsung every time unless doing a very budget build then maybe Crucial. Mechanical harddrives , Western Digital , I avoid Seagate totally due to past experience. Cpu's , AMD for me , value and besides Intels deplorable business behaviour down the years really annoyed me. Im glad AMD has risen from the underdog these last few years to give Intel the kick up the backside it deserved. Motherboards I used to favour Gigabyte but not anymore , either Asus or MSI ,leaning to MSI over my last two builds. Cases , again last two builds has been Gamemax , very good value and don't see the point of spending a lot for basically a shell under my desk. If it looks descent , good cooling potential then job done. GPu's , no preference really , just look for value as when needed ( Joke these days I know ). PSU's , again no preference although always go for a reputable branded one for reliability. Monitor , I have a couple of old ones for testing PC's but other than that I use a "42" TV because of space restrictions and use LG.
