Kent students get hyper fast WiMAX broadband

University of Kent students will have the chance to try out a srubbishrubbishrubbishrubbishy 45Mbit wireless internet connection... lucky people!
Beginning next month Telabria will begin installing base stations around the university campus ahead of a three-month trial of its service.

As part of the deal, Telabria gets access to some of the finest techie brains on offer at UoK to develop its knowledge of wireless broadband networks, while students get the chance to work in the real world.

Let's hope that, unlike current wi-fi, it actually does what it says on the tin. Like works all the time would be a start.
