    Installing OSX on an x86 PC

    They said it couldn't be done, but it turns out that it can, so there!

    Saving us the wrath of legal beavers, I'll point you in the direction of the OSX86 Project, which makes it clear that they serve only to inform on, not condone, the act of running OSX on x86 hardware.
    PHP Code:
    $s = new signature();
    $s->sarcasm()->intellect()->font('Courier New')->display();

    Yup, apparently the whole TMP protection has been cracked, which means the only thing slowing it down is the lack of drivers for certain hardware combos, but that is already being worked on..

    as its just BSD with some shiney stuff on, porting drivers from your excisting BSD distro should be childsplay. BSD has a much better idea of how too implement a HAL than linux, so it should be really easy. But this is direct DMCA violation for you americans, and copyright infrindgement for us brits, so that above is ment for educational purposes only.

    Apple should release a OS for x86 officially, I'm sure it would be a hit. At least it would offer consumers more choice.
