Quick question - in the picture captioned
"SATA RAID is growing in popularity and the number of SATA RAID cards on the market is inreasing."
the placard in the background is talking about Serial Attached SCSI drives - are these actually SATA RAID cards or SAS cards?
RAID-6 been advocated........... I thought HDDs were ment to be becoming more and more reliable, less failure rate. Or are they saying now that 2 in every 5 drives are going to fail, at the same time. (I would of belived it if this was say a maxtor stand).
Assuming they've not changed what RAID-6 means, and it is just RAID-5 with more parity.
