Over at arstechnica.com, you'll find one of the first in-depth reviews of the much-hyped RAW-image-handling program Aperture. There, reviewer Dave Girard does rather more than just deflate most of Apple's claims for the app.

Aperture V1.0, seemingly, is neither fast nor efficient. Worse, its output quality appears to be decidedly unprofessional and unlikely to appeal to its intended audience – folk who earn their living as photographers.
