I wonder how much this will be when it comes to market? I have not been intersted in this field of cooling, but if the price is right then I may just be tempted - if the benefits are worth the cost, of course...

It will be launching at $155, so I suspect we will see this one at around £100 (street price!)
Hrmm - is it worth switching over from an XP-120 with a panaflo fan tho?

Anyone know when these things will be available in the UK? £100 seems tempting if it can improve on a high spec air setup. Might coax my opty 146 from 2.8 - 3gig
It won't do, opterons will perform the same at pretty much any temperature above ambient. The only real way you get value for money from water cooling is the silence aspect. Performance wise, especially in modern games, the extra 50mhz or so you'll gain will mean virtually nothing.
Does that mean that my Opty will perform similarly with either a stock heatsink and fan, my G Power Pro unit or standard water cooling?
